Meet Joseph

Joseph Hund

has served on the Sultan City Council since December 2021. His goals for Sultan remain unchanged: to upgrade city infrastructure, expand economic opportunities, and support the local community. He firmly believes in enhancing city services and promoting equal opportunity. By supporting  workforce development, inclusivity, and enhanced public spaces, we can unlock the full potential of our community.

His main focus has been on securing US 2 safety and capacity improvements, addressing growth concerns, and pursuing open spaces for the public. His lobbying efforts in Olympia have assisted Sultan in pursuing these issues.

Joseph also serves on the Snohomish County Board of Health as the Small Cities Representative. The recent pandemic and continued opioid crisis have made it clear that public health work is an essential component to our community's wellness. Joseph looks forward to future service in this role where he provides Sultan with a seat at the table and a voice in public health policymaking.

With your support, Joseph will continue to make Sultan a place where controlled growth flourishes, open spaces are accessible, and our City continuously improves creating a vibrant community we can all be proud of.
